The SPF 50+ Cream offers ultra-broad spectrum daily sun protection. It is ideal for dry sensitive facial skin. Its velvety, melting texture moisturises the face for up to 8 hours* leaving the skin nourished and soft to the touch. The SPF 50+ Cream leaves an imperceptible, non-shiny finish on the skin when applied and is an excellent base for everyday make-up. The formula is also water resistant.
This sun care product incorporates TriAsorB ™, a ultra-broad spectrum sun filter that protects against UV rays and blue light, skin-ageing accelerators.
This innovation allows for a 95% reduction in cell damage induced by solar radiation** and thus contributes to the effective fight against sun damage and visible skin damage.
Developped to limit its impact on marine ecosystems, severals tests have been conducted to prove that it is non-toxic to three key species of marine biodiversity: one coral species, one phytoplankton species and one zooplankton species***, at concentrations representative of those found in the environment.

The Avène Sun Cream SPF50+ for Dry Sensitive Skin is absolutely perfect for my skin! I often get flare ups when using new products on my face but this has been brilliant. It smells lovely, doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind and isn’t too heavy/thick so great for a base layer before my make up too! I even use it on some of my scars as it is such high protection sun cream. Would really recommend to anyone wanting a high spf sun cream for your face!
I’m 6 months pregnant and have been using this for the past few weeks whether the weather is sunny or not and it’s been great.
I put my moisturiser on first and then use just over a pea size of this (very thick and you don’t need much at all for full face coverage) and rub in using my fingertips.
Putting the moisturiser first helps prevent a little bit of a tint on the skin but it’s nothing really noticeable without the moisturiser. I also have dry skin in the Tzone area which appears to have reduced a bit as well- double win!
Received this at the right time….. the week of sun it come in handy it was great for mine and the family’s skin used it everyday…. Not too greasy and not too thick great protection! Would definitely recommend this product
I have oily skin and it works great under my day time makeup. Doesn't feel sticky or greasy and absorbs almost immediately. I am aware its for dry sensitive skin, but it is not necessary as my T zone is oily and works just fine on my skin. It cooperate very well with the rest of my skin routine products (serums, creams, mists etc.)
The finish is very silky and has good oil control. I absolutely love the gentle fragrance, really it smells gorgeous.
I trust it will protect my face and neck skin from the sun this summer. It is like double protection compared to what other brands are offering at the moment.
